Ina Ruth Humfleet Byrd passed away Sept. 23, 2011. She was preceded in death by parents: Fred & Frona Humfleet, brothers: Ed Humfleet, Bobby Gene Humfleet, Earl Humfleet, and Dorsey Humfleet; sisters: Ruby Hatmaker & Mabel Evans.

Survived by John "Bob" Byrd of Cumberland Gap, TN, daughter - Linda Byrd & husband Michael Cutcliff of Knoxville, son Doyle Byrd & wife Trish of White Pine, TN., Sisters: Dorthy Adams, Jeannette Fultz both of Middlesboro, Patty Moyers of Speedwell, Step grandchildren: Joey & Doug Metzger of White Pine, step great grandchildren Caden & Ryan Metzger, special friends Lynn Gay & Lil Cardaret of Temperance, MI and a host of nieces nephew family & friends. A very special thanks to caregivers: Pam Dean, Connie Jones, Corine Rico, sister Patty and her children who were always there for her.

Funeral service 6 PM Sunday Sept. 25th at Reece Funeral Home with Revs. Dennis and Jeffery Daugherty officiating. Music by Joy Daugherty, Allison Harrison, and Emily & Eden Harrison. The family will receive friends from 3-6. Burial 1 PM Monday in the Carr Cemetery. Pallbearers: Doyle Byrd, Bobby Fultz, Jeff Higdon, John Schneider, Nick Taylor, Tom Helton.
