Imogene Parton

Imogene Woodward Parton, 77, of Arjay, passed away on Saturday, November 27, 2010 at her home. She was born in White Mountain, KY on April 26, 1933 a daughter of the late Finley Frank and Nicey Gambrel Woodward. She was a believer in the Holiness Faith and had been a homemaker. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John Henry Parton, brothers and sisters, Ernest Woodward, Zolema Bradshaw, Arizona Strunk and Luke Woodward and a special Sister-in-law, Betty Jo Cherry. Survivors include her children and their spouses, Sheila and Tim Bowman, Deborah and Dennis Bright, John H. and Teresa Parton, David E. and Becky Parton, Finley Mark and Darlene Parton and Timothy Lee and Ruby Parton, grandchildren, Marlin Holland, Jr., Jennifer Faulkner, Shannon Holland, Angela Collins, Christel Hoskins, Bobby S. Hubbard, Tanya Noah, David Parton, Jr., Constance Parton, Genia Goodin and Amanda Parton, fourteen great-grandchildren, sister-in-law, Zelma Woodward, friend, Trish Fields, family member, Marlin Drake Holland, Sr., special nieces, Vivian Strunk and Teresa Strunk and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
