Ida Ruth Smith Burkhart age 85 of Morristown TN. formally of Galion Ohio passed away Friday, Feb. 24th at Morristown Hamblen Hospital. She was born May 5th 1920 in Speedwell to the late William Greenberry Smith & Cora Ann VanBebber. She was a member of The Church of Latter Day Saints. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Grover Cleveland Burkhart, Sons; Wayne Howard & Edgar Gene. Daughter; Billie Jean Russell, grandson; Jerry Burkhart Jr,. Brothers; Lonnie Smith, Frank Smith, Bill Smith, Doyle Smith, sisters; Opal Evans & Flossie Smith.

She is survived by: Sons; Jerry Burkhart of Galion, Ohio and Louis Jay "C.J." &(Rita) Burkhart of Oklahoma City Daughters; Ina Gail &(Robert) Pritchard of Morristown,

The family will receive friends from 6-8 Monday at Reece Funeral Home & Valley Chapel. Funeral Service at 8 pm Monday with Bishop Scott Hoskins officiating. Burial 11 am Tuesday in Greasy Hollow.
