Ida Valentine Miller

Ida Mae Valentine Miller, 70, of Pineville, passed away on Monday, March 6, 2012 at the Mountain View Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Pineville. She was born at Straight Creek on January 7, 1942 a daughter of the late Chester and Nannie Mason Valentine. She had worked on the assembly line at RCA and Kenner Toy Company in Ohio. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William David 'Bill' Miller; a sister, Shirley Maise and grandparents, John and Betty Valentine and Loyde and Ida Mason. Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Debra and Phillip Taylor; grandchildren, Robin Whitley and P.J. Taylor; great-grandchildren, Jada Whitley and Ladassa Whitley; brothers and sisters, Betty and samuel Chirstopher, Dorothy and Darrell Cox, Peggy and Jim Sheldon, Johnnie and Glen Carnes and Ruby Valentine and Chester and Wanda Valentine, sixteen nieces and nephews and a host of great-nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends.
