Hilla Cox Henson

Hilla Mae Cox Henson, 78, of Barbourville, KY, passed away at Barbourville on Tuesday, August 7, 2018. She was born in Bell County, KY on January 29, 1939, the daughter of Boyd and Lillie Caldwell Cox. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Alfred Henson, son, Jimmy Henson; grandson, Jeremy Henson; granddaughter, Heather Henson; two brothers, Robert Cox and Lenice Cox. Survivors include her children, Tommy Wayne Henson, Terry Henson and Treca Henson Lowe, seven grandchildren, six great-grandchildren; brother, Letcher Cox; sisters, Virgie Brock, Judy Neal, Ella Neal, Pearlie Stewart, Myrtle Philpot and Betty Philpot and a host of family and friends. Services will be at 2:00 PM Sunday at Knox Funeral Home with the Rev. William Philpot. Burial will be at Vaughn/McNeil Cemetery at Barbourville, KY.
