Hettie Alice Fuson

Mrs. Hettie Alice Gibson Fuson went home to be with Jesus on Sunday, March 1, 2015 at the Continued Care Hospital in Corbin. She was the daughter of the late Holifield and Mary Ann Mason Gibson. She had been a homemaker. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a grandchild, Sheila Louise Horton Luckadoo, great-grandchild, Issiah Daniel McDonald; brothers and sister, Marcil and Elmer Gibson and Orena Coile. She was married to the late, Bobby Lee Fuson and to this union six children were born, Bobbie Jean, who died at age three; Robert (Linda) Fuson, Spencerville, OH; Marfield Fuson, Pikeville, TN; Brenda Horton, Medina, OH; Rosetta Horton, Cave City, KY and Linda (Winchell) Wilder, Miracle, KY; She was united to the late Richard Thompson, Jr., from this union she had three children, Crystal (Les) McDonald, Pineville, KY; Gail Matthews (Gary Widener)Aiken, SC and Saretia Thompson (Todd Catron), Ewing, VA; She adopted, Kristie (Jim) Hayhurst, Atlanta, GA; Robert Lannan, Pineville, KY and Brandon (Becky) Lannon, Pineville, KY; twenty-three grandchildren; twenty-eight great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren. She had been a mother and grandmother to many more who she took into her heart. Surviving brothers and sisters, Robert and Obert Gibson, both of Port Charlotte, FL Saretia Gegg, Corbin, KY and Okaneda Partin, Pineville, KY and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Services will be at 2:00 PM Thursday at the Arnett & Steele Funeral Chapel with Rev. Harold Lee Fuson and Rev. Hiram Mason. Burial will be in the Mills Cemetery at Tinsley with family and friends serving as pallbearers. The family will receive friends from 5 until 9:00 PM Wednesday at the Arnett & Steele Funeral Home and Cremation Center, Pineville, which is honored to serve the Fuson Family.
