Hester Viola Reed, age 95 of Tazewell, TN passed away Saturday, December 21, 2019 at the Diversicare of Claiborne in New Tazewell. She was a proud member of Mountain Assembly Church of God. Hester was a lady who always carried a smile, never met a stranger and she loved making everyone laugh.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter; Jewell Roberts, son; Cordell Reed, grandson; John Wyatt, 7 brothers and 6 sisters.
She is survived by her son; Curtis Reed and wife Gwenda of Bean Station, Tn, daughter; Vernie Wyatt of Tazewell, TN, grandchildren; Dale Roberts, Melissa Roberts Welch and Kenneth Wyatt, 5 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren, dear friend; Linda Mason and special friend; Joyce Thacker, several nieces, nephews and a host of other loving family members and friends.
Memorial services will be conducted at a later date.
The Arnett & Steele Valley Chapel is honored to be serving the Reed Family.
