Hershel Knuckles

Hershel Knuckles, 71. of Pineville, passed away on Saturday, June 4, 2016 at the Pineville Community Hospital. He was born in Beverly on October 22, 1944 a son of the late Albert and Margie Lawson Knuckles. He believed in the Baptist Faith. Hershel had served in the US Army during the Vietnam Era earning a Vietnam Service Medal with a Bronze Star, National Defense Service Medal and Vietnam Campaign Medal and was a member of the DAV. Survivors include his wife, Norma Knuckles, children, Rebecca Jackson, Hershel Edward Knuckles and Lola Kay Knuckles; grandchildren, Megan Jackson, Jessica Jackson, Chandler North and Dylan Knuckles; great-grandsons; Shawn, Trey, Kaon and Jamari, brothers and sisters, Burl, Simon, Robert, Carrol, Lavoe, Bruce, Ricky and Larry Knuckles, Geneva Brock and Wonda Caldwell and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Services will be at 2:00 PM Wednesday at Arnett & Steele Funeral Chapel with Rev. Robert Gross. Music will be by Kathy Brock. Burial will be in the Mudlick Cemetery at Beverly, KY with Hershel Edward Knuckles, Dylan Knuckles, Michael Jackson and other family members. The family will receive friends from 6 until 9 PM Tuesday at Arnett & Steele Funeral Home and Cremation Center, Pineville, which is honored to serve the Knuckles family.
