Herbert "Herbie" Brock

Herbert “Herbie” Brock, 73, passed away at his home on Herbie Brock Road in Peach Blossom on Tuesday, August 26, 2025. He was born on January 25, 1952, a son of the late Elmer and Belva Brock. Herbie was an avid fisherman and was rarely seen without his four-wheeler or his dog.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Arnold Lee Brock, Herman Brock, and Elmer “Peewee” Brock Jr.; sisters, Quanita “Wanda” Sholte, Rosetta Kerrigan, June Tallent, and Patricia “Tishie” Jackson; best friend, James “Chicken” Brock; and his beloved dog, Pie.

Herbie is survived by his brother, Byon and Kay Brock; Sondra and Joey Pyles; sister-in-law, Eulene Brock; dog, Mister; special grandchildren, Jeremy and Tara Brock, Jessica Hoskins, Whitney and Matthew Partin, and Zoey Pyles; a host of nieces and nephews; long-time best friends, Donnie, Steve, John, Mitchell, Harold, and many more. He was loved by so many and will be dearly missed.

Memorial services will be at 4:00 PM on Saturday, September 27, 2025, at the Mill Creek Baptist Church with Rev. Jeremy Sanders presiding.
