Henry Neal

Bro. Henry Neal, 83, of Jeffersonville, KY, Formerly of Stoney Fork, went Home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, February 14, 2018 at the University of Kentucky Medical Center in Lexington, with his son Curtis and daughter-in-law, Juanita, by his side. He was born in Stoney Fork on September 22, 1934, and was a son of the late Ledford and Margie Helton Neal. Henry worked as a coal miner, carpenter and farmer, and was a proud minister of the gospel for more than 30 years. He had a compassion and zeal to touch people through the word of God and to reestablish God's unity of love, faith and hope. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife and mother of his children, Pauline Saylor Neal, brother, Grant Neal, second wife, Imogene Watkins Neal, and eldest granddaughter, Crystal Gail Neal. Henry is survived by his sons, Rev. Curtis Neal , and wife, Juanita Siler Neal of London, Kenneth Neal of Jeffersonville, and David Neal of Stoney Fork; brothers, James Neal and Wife, Thelma of Pathfork, Ledford Neal, Jr. and wife, Judy of Ft. Wayne, IN, Elmer Neal and wife, Ella of Knoxville; sisters, Mary Neal of Ft. Wayne, IN and Laura Neal Jones of Fredericksburg, VA; sister-in-law, Bessie Neal; granddaughters, Samantha Neal Benge and husband, Rev. Johnny Ray, Angelica Neal Saylor and husband, Sim Brandon, and Emilee Neal; great-grandchildren, Kimberly Grace, Aidan Riley, Josiah Brandon Saylor; and a host of other relatives and friends that will sorely mourn his passing. Funeral services will be on Sunday, February 18, at 2:00 PM at the Arnett & Steele Funeral Home with Rev. Johnny Benge and Rev Johnny Ray Benge. Music will be by Juanita Neal, Samantha Benge and Rosemary Jones. Burial will follow in the Saylor Cemetery at Crockett with family and friends serving as pallbearers. The family will receive friends on Sunday after 10:00 AM at the Arnett & Steele Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Pineville, which is honored to be serving the Neal Family.
