Helen Rose Howard

Helen Rose Chandler Howard, 86 of Coldiron, passed away on Tuesday, April 4, 2023, at the Mountain View Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Pineville. She was born in Pineville on September 4, 1936, a daughter of the late Ella Chandler and Evelyn Griffith Jackson. Helen had been a homemaker.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Mac Howard; and sons, Mendle David LeMar, Jr., William Richard LeMar, and Anthony Charles LeMar.

Helen is survived by her daughters, Deborah Brock and husband, Ronald, Anita LeMar, and Melissa Tollman and husband, Mike; grandchildren, Baylen Brock and wife, Mayria, Ronny Brock, Sara Brock, Jack Brock, William Richard Ealy and wife, Christy, Shawn Michael Tollman and wife, Desiree, David Alexander LeMar and wife, Michelle, Rebecca Richardson, Catherine Sudie LeMar, Adam LeMar, William Richard LeMar, Brandon LeMar, and Matthew LeMar; 32 great-grandchildren; 12 great-great-grandchildren; sister, Mary Cupp; special sister-in-law, Mary Jackson; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Private services will be held by the family at a later date.
