Helen Greene

Helen Greene, 79, of Pineville, passed away on Friday, September 25, 2020 at her home. She was born in Pineville on December 17, 1940, a daughter of the late Ula Bay and Martha Ann Hensley Rutherford. She had been a speech therapy aide with the Bell County School Systems. In addition to her parents, Helen was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Greene; her son, David Ray Norris; her brothers, Hugh Rutherford, Ernest Rutherford, Kenneth Rutherford, Bobby Rutherford, Clarence Rutherford, and Charles Rutherford; and her sisters, Magdalene Shepard and Sara Rutherford. Helen is survived by her daughter, Teresa Ann (Mark) Wakin; her sons, Mark Anthony (Tina) Norris and Gregory (Jarika Cardwell) Jones; her brother, Billy Wayne Rutherford; her sisters, Lorene Bingham and Elsie (Cecil) Smith; and a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Private cremation services were held at the Arnett & Steele Funeral Home and Cremation Center, Pineville, which is honored to serve the Greene Family.
