Hazel Smith Warren

Hazel Mae Smith Warren, 88, of Turkey Creek with her daughter, Jewell, formerly of Arjay, passed away on Thursday, February 28, 2013 at the Pineville Community Hospital. She was born in Ely Hollow, KY on August 26,1924a daughter of the late Woodson and Viola Doan Smith. She was a believer in the Holiness faith and had been a homemaker. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 59 years, John Henry Warren, grandson, Danny Saylor; brothers and sister, Riley Smith, Lloyd Charles Smith and Geneva Mills. Survivors include her children, Orville Warren, Wilma Saylor and husband, Gene, Jewell Cox and husband, Matt; grandchildren, Brian Saylor and wife, Deanna, Georgie Kay Saylor, Melissa Warren, Jamie Saylor, Jody Saylor and Brittany Abner and husband, Shane; great-grandchildren, Randall Dawayne Watson, Ryan Daniel Saylor, Angela Renee Saylor, Allison Leigh Saylor, Jody Saylor, Jacob Saylor, Kelsee Abner, Sydnee Abner, Austin Cox and Madison Cox; great-great-grandson, Brayden Tyler Bowles; step-grandchildren, Kristina Gibson, Delena Gibson and Joseph Gibson; brothers, sisters and their spouses, Jack and Opal Smith, Charles and Diane Smith, Joe and Nancy Smith, Ruth and Thad Daniels, Betty and Daniel Hensley and Ellen Hooker; sisters-in-law, Virgie Smith, Amanda Lynch, Helen Mays and Margaret Lawson, brothers-in-law, Warden Lawson and wife, Dee and Hubert Mills and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
