Hazel Swisher Age 85 Of Speedwell
Hazel Swisher, 85 of Speedwell, TN, passed away October 27, 2008. She was the beloved wife of the late Norman Blaine Swisher. Hazel was born in Valley Creek, TN, although she lived most of her life in Speedwell, TN. During WW II she worked as an aircraft welder in Baltimore, MD, where she met her husband. After the war she dedicated the remainder of her life to caring for the large family she had always dreamed of. She was preceded in death by her parents, John William and Margaret Taylor Peevely; husband, Norman B. Swisher; infant son, Norman Blaine Swisher, Jr.; grandsons, Cameron Martin Swisher and William Michael Gibbs Duggan; brother, John William 'Billy' Peevely; and sister, Mary Edna Peevely.
She is survived by her loving family;

Twenty grandchildren,
Fourteen great grandchildren,

Kathy Cheek and husband, Robert;
Brother, Robert Peevely and wife Linda,
Many nieces, nephews, cousins, numerous friends and caregivers.

Funeral services will be 8:00 p.m. Thursday, October 30, 2008 at Reece Valley Chapel.
