Hazel Jones

Hazel Knuckles Jones, 99, of Pineville, passed away Tuesday, March 8, 2011 at Pineville Community Hospital. She was born in St. Creek on August 29, 1911 a daughter of the late James and Lillie Napier Knuckles. She was a member of the Laurel Hill Pentecostal Church and had been a homemaker. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Dock Jones; son, James Jones; brothers and sister, Clayborne Knuckles, Ed Knuckles, Earl Joe Knuckles, Walter Knuckles, J.T. Knuckles and Mallie Woolum. Survivors include her children and their spouses, Helen and Leroy Smith of Dayton, OH., Lillian and Roger Althouse of Fl., Pauline and Lester Green of Bird Branch and Raymond and Louise Jones of New Carlisle, OH.; daughter-in-law, Ruth Jones of Beaver Creek, OH.; brothers and sisters, Bob and Rossie Knuckles of Fl., Ray and Roxie Knuckles of IN., Leonard Knuckles of OH., Ellen and Marvin Porter of Fort Wayne, IN. and Dorothy Spears of Leitchfield, KY, and a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
