of Harrogate

Hazel Ayers Hammack, age 80 of Harrogate, went home to be with the

Lord on Friday, April 25, 2008. She was a member of Butcher's Gap

Missionary Baptist Church. Hazel loved to read, quilt, and take care of

her beautiful flowers. She is the Daughter of the late Jake and Rachel Ayers.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband; Jack Hammack,

daughter; Christine Hammack, sons; Fred and Danny Hammack, sister;

Jeraldine Ayers and brother; Wheeler Ayers.

Sisters, Vina Hembree, of Ewing, VA, Viola (Bug) Carmony;

Brother, Gillis (Bunie) Ayers.

Visitation Monday April 28, 2008 from 6 to 9. Funeral Service 11 am Tuesday April 22, 2008 with Rev. Sam Ayers and Rev. Jim Taylor officiating. Music by True Gospel & Friends. Burial in the Arnolds Cemetery, Ewing VA. Pallbearers- Friends of the family.
