Harry L. Bruner, 87, of Pineville, Kentucky passed away Saturday, February 24, 2018 at Middlesboro Appalachian Regional Hospital. He was born in Cary, Kentucky on March 9, 1930, and was the son of the late Burt and Minnie Sloan Bruner. Harry was a Veteran of the United States Air Force, serving during the Korean War, and had retired from General Motors as an Inspector for quality control. He was a member of the First Christian Church of Pineville, and also a longtime member of the Bell Masonic Lodge #691. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Aubrey Bruner and a sister, Opal Gann. Survivors include his wife of 64 years, Coleen 'Cody' Daugherty Bruner of Pineville; children, Kimberly Kretten and husband, Michael, Michael Bruner, and Robert Bruner; grandchildren, Maggie Reynolds, Molly TenBrink, and Phillip Michael Bruner; great-grandchildren, Andie Reynolds, A.J. Reynolds, Austin Reynolds and Tucker TenBrink; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and many wonderful friends. Funeral services will be on Tuesday, February 27, at 2:00 PM at the Arnett & Steele Funeral Home in Pineville with Rev. Jerry Combs and Mr. B.J. Brock. Masonic rights will be conducted by Bell Lodge #691, and music will be by Stephanie Eldridge and Ginny Fraley. Cremation will follow at the Arnett & Steele Cremation Center in Pineville. The family will receive friends from 11:30 AM until funeral hour on Tuesday, at the Arnett & Steele Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Pineville, which is honored to be serving the Bruner Family.
