Harold Jenkins

Edward H. (Bud) Jenkins went home to be with the Lord, on Wednesday, March 31, 2010. He was born on October 9, 1923 at Artemus, Kentucky. He was the son of Edward Reese Jenkins and Ella kinder, who preceded him in death. A veteran of WWII, he served in the Army Air Corp as a bombadier on a B-17. He also served as an elder of the Artemus Christian Church for many years, and remained active in his service there. After retiring as division accountant for Kentucky Utilities, he also was employed by First State Financial. ?Mr. Ed? was loved by all who worked there. He graduated from University of Kentucky in 1950. He was a past master of Bell Lodge #691. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his sisters, Juanita Watkins and Wilma Jean Jenkins. Survivors include his loving wife of 58 years, Marcella Jenkins, daughter, Kathleen York and her husband, Ruben York, son Edward R. Jenkins and wife, Mary, son, Bill Jenkins and wife, Sarah, grandchildren, Jason York, Kelley Mills and husband ,Jimmie, Justin York and wife, Liz, Benjamin Edward Jenkins, Kason Jenkins and Abigail Jenkins, great-grandchildren, Joshua Mills, Emily Ann Mills and Nathaniel York, brother, Hobart Jenkins, mother-in-law, Pauline Williams, sister-in-law, Barb Thompson and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
