Harold L. Collett

Harold L. Collett, 82, of Kettle Island, passed away at Harlan Hospital on Saturday, April 12, 2025. He was born in Redbird, KY on November 13, 1942, and was a son of the late Wilk and Phronia Asher Collett. He loved his family and his dogs and was a hard worker. He had his own company and showed his sons hard working in life.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Delia Marie Saylor Collett, brothers and sisters, Waldon Collett, Molly Jackson, Lois Crockett, Felice Jackson, Paul Collett, Clarence Collett, Dory Saylor and Arlan Collett.

Harold is survived by his four sons, Shelby and Tonya Collett, Faron and Stephanie Collett, Aaron and Jenny Collett and Harold Dean and Arica Collett, grandchildren, Natasha Long, Jacob Collett, Andrea Collet, Morgan Woods, Joshua Collett, Rachel Collett, Hannah Collett, Tanner Collett and Tucker Collett; great-grandchildren, Kaitlyn Long, Makayla Long, Ava Long, Noah Collett, Addilee Long, Olivia Woods, and Delia Ray Collett; and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.

Services will be on Tuesday, April 15, 2025, at 11:00 AM at Saylor Crockett Pentecostal Holiness Church with Rev. Ronnie Hoskins, Rev. Jordan Lee Saylor, and Rev. Luther Collett. Music will be by the Church Family. The burial will be in the Saylor Cemetery, Crockett. Pallbearers will be Jacob Collett, Joshua Collett, Tanner Collett, Johann Brock and Chris Saylor.

The family will receive friends on Monday, April 14, 2025, at Saylor Crockett Pentecostal Holiness Church beginning at 5:00 PM and until the funeral hour on Tuesday.
