Harold Eugene Caldwell, Sr.

Harold Eugene Caldwell, Sr., 70 of Kettle Island, passed away on Tuesday, July 7, 2026, at the Saint Joseph Hospital in London. He was born in Red Bird on October 21, 1955, a son of Elihue and Virgie Helton Caldwell. Harold was a believer in the Holiness Faith. He had been a Drill Operator for Cyprus Coal and had cut timber.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his siblings, Jerry Caldwell, Patricia Caldwell, James “Chicken” Brock, Shirley Vaughn, and Bobby Brock.

Harold is survived by his son, Harold E Caldwell, Jr.; daughter Christal Turner and husband, Tommy; brother, Phillip Caldwell and wife, Geraldine; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

Funeral services will be at 2:00 PM on Saturday, July 11, 2026, at Arnett & Steele Funeral Home with Rev. Gary Wagner and Rev. Paul Bailey presiding. Burial will follow at the Pinelawn Memorial Gardens with family and friends serving as pallbearers.

The family will receive friends on Saturday from 12:00 PM until the funeral hour at Arnett & Steele Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Pineville, which is honored to serve the Caldwell Family.
