Harold Baker, 84 of Middlesboro, passed away on September 9, 2021, at the Middlesboro Appalachian Regional Hospital in Middlesboro. He was born January 23, 1937, in Bell County, a son of the late Robert and Emma Hoskins Baker. Harold was a member of the Harmony Baptist Church and had been a Heat and Air Conditioner Installer. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by sons, H.J. Baker and Danny Ray Baker; brothers and sisters, Charles Ray Baker, Frank Earl Baker, Hubert Baker, Marie Baker, Mossie Baker, Ethel Phillips, Betty Gibson, Clyde Baker, Solomon Baker, Elisha Baker, Ed J. Baker and Shelby Baker. Harold is survived by his children, Dawell Gene Baker and wife, Lisa, and Harold Baker, Jr.; grandchildren, Dustin Baker, Kyle Baker, Eric Baker and Amanda Baker and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. Funeral services will be at 7:00 PM on Sunday, September 12, 2021 at the Arnett & Steele Funeral Home with Rev. Paul Gibson presiding. Burial will be on Monday at 11:00 AM in the Smith Cemetery in Pineville. Pallbearers will be his nephews. The family will receive friends on Sunday from 5:30 PM until the funeral hour at the Arnett & Steele Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Pineville, which is honored to serve the Baker Family.
