Harmon North

Harmon North, 69 of Ingram, passed away on Tuesday, September 29, 2026, at the Baptist Health Hospital in Lexington. He was born in Pineville on February 26, 1957, the son of the late Elmer and Katherine Wilson North, Sr. Harmon was a member of the Straight Creek Pentecost Holiness Church. He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. He loved sports cars and had been a concrete plant manager.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his siblings, Avery “Buck” North, Lola Cook, Ruby Ridell, Betty Mills, and Elmer North, Jr.

Harmon is survived by his wife of 50 years, Gale Hensley North; daughter, Sabrina Lowe; son, Chris North and wife, Tonya; grandchildren, Cameron North and wife, Lillian, Madisyn North, Noah Lowe, Linken Lowe, and Arabella Lowe; special friends, Denny Turner and Jerry Shepherd; special neighbors, Virgil and Janice Brown; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

The family would like to send a special thank you to the staff at Baptist Health Hospital in Lexington and especially to his nurse, Tim, for their care and compassion for Harmon.

Funeral services will be at 12:00 PM on Saturday, October 3, 2026, at Arnett & Steele Funeral Home with Pastor John Neal, Bro. Jerry Shepherd, Bro. Dustin Simpson, and Bro. Paul Shepherd. Music will be provided by Natasha Brock, Becky Shepherd, and Elizabeth Neal. Burial will follow at Green Hills Memorial Gardens in Middlesboro. Pallbearers will be Chris North, Cameron North, Paul Shepherd, Noah Lowe, James Blevins, Derrick Hoskins, and Allen Neal. Honorary pallbearer will be Lloyd Hensley.

The family will receive friends on Friday from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Arnett & Steele Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Pineville, which is honored to serve the North Family.
