Gypsie Jo Smith Gilbert, age 59 of Tazewell was born February 15th, 1948 and passed away suddenly Friday Sept. 14, 2007 at her home. She was a loving wife, mother and a friend to everyone.

She was precede in death by son Eddie Gilbert; parents Hayden and Edna Lackey Smith;

father and mother-in-law, Elbert and Ruth Gray Gilbert; half-sister, Margaret Ann Brown; and nephew, Jeffery Bussell.

She is survived by her husband of 45 years Lawerence Gilbert;

sons: Tim Gilbert of Tazewell, Bobby (& Lynda Evans) Gilbert of Middlesboro;

daughters: Mellissa (& Arthur) Warf of Tazewell,

Angie (& Jason Young) Gilbert of Morristown;

brother Bobby (& Carol) Smith of Harrogate;

half-sister, Tommie Sue (& Woodrow Ellis) of Middlesboro, Ky;

grandchildren, Shawn and Christopher Gilbert, Ashley, Justin, Steven, Brandon and Bradley Gilbert, Hayden and Hunter Gilbert, Derek and Jeremy Warf, Gabriel Young and Ericka Evans. great grandchildern Brady Hamlin and Matthew Hembree Jr. and a host of Family and friends.

Funeral service will be 11a m Monday Sept. 17th, 2007 with Rev. Jackie Daniels and Christopher Gilbert officiating. Music by Flora Gilbert, Angela Bussell & The Little Creek Singers. Visitation Sunday Sept. 16th, 2007 from 6 pm till 9 pm at Reece Funeral Home & Valley Chapel. Burial Monday in the Crane Cemetery, Harrogate, Tn.

Pallbearers: Grandchildren; Shawn, Christopher, Justin, Steven, Derek, Brandon, Bradley, Jeremy, Hayden, Hunter, Gabriel, and Lawerence. Honorary Pallbearers Jerry, Jackie and Mike Gilbert, Jason Young, & Arthur Warf.
