Gretchen Allen Green

Gretchen Allen Green, 68 of Pineville, passed away on Sunday, June 19, 2022, at the Pineville Community Health Care. She was born in Welch, West Virginia on January 16, 1954, a daughter of the late Earl and Helen Bryant Allen. Gretchen had been a homemaker, secretary, and school aide for the Bell County School System. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Robert Paul Green; and her siblings, Jerry Allen, Sidney Allen, Robert Allen, and Aubrey Allen. Gretchen is survived by her sons, Chad Green and wife, Tracey, and Jason Green; grandchildren, Hayden Green and Eithen Green; sister, Glennis Jackson; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be at 1:00 PM on Thursday, June 24, 2022, at the Arnett & Steele Funeral Home with Rev. Paul Gibson presiding. Burial will follow at the Pinelawn Memorial Gardens in Pineville with her nephews and friends serving as pallbearers. The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at the Arnett & Steele Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Pineville, which is honored to serve the Green Family.
