Gregory D. Evans

Gregory D. Evans, 60 of Knoxville, passed away on Friday, April 12, 2024, at the Tennova North Hospital in Knoxville. He was born in Chicago on May 11, 1963, a son of the late Robert Boyd and Doris Fuson Evans. Gregory had been a carpenter.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Richard Evans.

Gregory is survived by his children, Christopher Shane Evans and wife, Jessica, and Madison Peeler; children he raised as his own, Mollie Miller and Serenity Hobock; grandchildren, Laken Evans, Eloise Hood, and Oliver Hood; brother, Robert Edward Evans; sister, Karen Thacker; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

Funeral services will be at 2:00 PM on Sunday, April 14, 2024, at the Arnett & Steele Funeral Home with Rev. Mike Brooks presiding.
