Gracie Gambrel Hubbard

Gracie Gambrel Hubbard, 88 of Arjay passed away on Saturday, December, 24, 2011 at the Middlesboro Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. She was a lifelong resident of Bell County and a sister and member of the Straight Creek Pentecost Holiness Church and was a dedicated wife, mother and homemaker. She was preceded in death by her husband, Hobert Hubbard of 61 years; a daughter, Geraldine Taylor, daughters-in-law, Phyllis Hubbard and Marie Hubbard; her parents, Ross and Laura Gambrel, brothers, Robert and Harl Gambrel, half-brothers, Asbury and Donald Lee Gambrel; sisters, Bertha Hubbard and Tressie Gambrel. Survivors include her five sons, Arthur and wife, Jean of Nancy, KY; Leonard of Arjay, KY; Dewey and wife, Sylvia of Cumberland Gap, TN; Virgil and wife, Ruby of Pineville, KY and Dale and wife, Mavis of Pineville, KY; son-in-law, Jesse Taylor of Turkey Creek, KY; seventeen grandchildren and a host of greta-grandchildren; half-brothers, John Gambrel of Walker, KY; Dan Gambrel of Flat Lick, KY; Lloyd Gambrel of Ft. Wayne, IN; half-sisters, Esselene Sizemore of Daylton, OH, Gennie Beth Dye of Flat Lick, KY, Bobbie Jean Cox of Flat Lick, KY and a host of other relatives and friends.
