Grace Louise Miller, 81, of Beach Park, IL, formerly of Warner Robins, GA, died on Thursday, April 16, 2009 at the home of her beloved niece, Phyllis Miller. Grace was born January 21, 1928 in Blue Earth, Minnesota. Ms. Grace, as she was commonly referred to, was always available to help those in need. She was active in the Air Force Ladies Auxiliary, the Surviving Spouse Group and many other organizations, when she resided in Warner Robins. Grace served on active duty with the United States Air Force from 1950-1954 and entered Civil Service in 1963 and completed 32 years of service. She loved to plant flowers and show off her special plants. Grace belonged to the Turtle Club and was fond of placing turtle figurines around the house. Her niece transported her from Georgia to Illinois in December of 2005 and took care of her due to her failing health. Grace enjoyed her time with her niece and nephew and family while in Beach Park. She loved the Lord and when able, attended a Baptist Church in Georgia. She was preceded in death by her husband, Johnny R. Miller in 1992, sister, Maurine Sohn and her parents, Theodore and Iva Dray. Survivors include sister, Marguerite (Roger) Ellis of Blue Earth, MN, Kathryn (Gerald) Moore of Fort Mohave, AZ and Mona Johnson of Kodiak, AL and many nieces and nephews.
