Goldie Hendrickson Ray

Goldie Hendrickson Ray, 95, of Pineville, passed away on Monday, February 5, 2018 at the Pineville Community Hospital. She was born in Fourmile, Kentucky on August 18, 1922, a daughter of the late George Hendrickson and Sarah Hendrickson Reeder. Goldie, along with her husband, Ed, had owned a florist and boat dock until their retirement. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James 'Ed' Ray; sister, Georgia Baker; and brother, Orville Lee Hendrickson. Goldie is survived by her nieces and nephews, Cecil Baker, Sandra Gilbert, Loretta Baker and George Baker; special great niece and nephews, Scott Callebs, James Lewis, Angela Ward and Rob Hubbard; as well as a host of other relatives and many friends. Funeral services will be Thursday, February 8, at 2:00 PM at the Arnett & Steele Funeral Home with Rev. Ron Suntken. Burial will follow in the Hendrickson Cemetery at Fourmile with family and friends serving as pallbearers. The family will receive friends on Thursday from 12 until 2 PM at the Arnett & Steele Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Pineville, which is honored to be serving the Ray family.
