Goldie Smith Brock

Goldie Smith Brock, age 89, passed away on October 3, 2018. She was born in Knox County, Kentucky on August 17, 1929. She believed in the Baptist Faith. She was preceded in death by her husband, Walter Brock. She resided at Dorton Branch in Bell County for over 70 years. Survivors include her sons, Ronnie (Louise) Brock, and Larry (Mary) Brock all of Pineville, Ky. Grandchildren, Larissa (Dustin) Savage, Jeff (Tiffany) Brock, April Brock, Amy (Nathan) Hack. Great grandchildren, Cassidy Hack, Kennedy Brock and Reagan Brock. She was a longtime dedicated employee of Pineville Community Hospital (1966 to 2010). She worked as Nurses Aide her entire career. Special thanks to the personnel at the former Pineville Community Hospital Nursing Home and Mountain View Nursing Home in 2016 thru 2018, for the excellent care given to her. At her request a grave side service will be held at the Pineville Cemetery. Pastor Jeff Tingle of Bethlehem Baptist Church will be presiding. Honorary Pallbearers will be: Ronnie Redmond, Dustin Redmond, Frank Garrison, Garrett Garrison, Ben Mason and Ralph Canterbury.
