Golden Taylor

Golden Taylor, 72, of Arjay, passed away on December 27, 2024, at his home surrounded by his family. He was born in White Mountain, KY on July 26, 1952, a son of the late Ike and Linda Beverly Taylor. He had been a coal miner and a jack of all trades. He also owned an appliance company.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by brothers, William Taylor, Lonnie Taylor and Charles Taylor.

Golden is survived by his children, Angela Pierce, Dallas and Sherri Sosnin, Golden and Lelia Taylor and Elizabeth Holland; grandchildren, Amber and Tyler Moore, Dustin and Laurel Lewis, Brianna Freeman, Misty and Luke Taylor, Julia and Tim Woods, Tylan and Cassie Sosnin, Halei and Austin Causey, Marissa Holland, Lori Taylor and Dylan Mahan, Emily Holland, Jordan and Ginni Collins, Rosie Taylor, Alyiah Taylor and Makayla Brock; great-grandchildren, Bo, Brayden, Connor, Kennedy, Elyjah, Paisleigh, Jake, Grayson, Lilly, Elleri, Addie, Gali and Colby; brothers and sisters, Elmer Taylor, Fern North, Pauline Caldwell, Eddie Ray Taylor, Gene and Norma Taylor, Ike and Karen Taylor, Judy and Alex Smith, and Priscilla and Jim Whitehead; and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Services will be on Thursday, January 2, 2025, at 7:00 PM, at the Arnett & Steele Funeral Chapel with Rev. Ronnie Oplinger and Rev. Cheyenne Brock.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, January 2, 2025, from 2:00 PM until the funeral hour at 7:00 PM at the Arnett & Steele Funeral Home and Cremation Center.
