Glessie Howard

Glessie Robbins Howard, 97, of Pineville, passed away Thursday, December 8, 2011 at her home. She was born in Bell County on November 22, 1914 a daughter of Vernon Thomas and Betty Wright Thomas Carmen. She had been a homemaker. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husbands, E.G Robbins and Stoney Howard; sons, Eugene Robbins, Darrell Robbins, Sonny Robbins, Warren Robbins and Edwin Robbins and a host of brothers and sisters. Survivors include her sisters, Mae Surbaugh, Georgia Bloemker, Stella Duncan Epperson; brother, Jimmy Carmen; a host of grandchildren and great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
