Glenda Mae Thacker, age 64, of Middlesboro, Kentucky passed away Saturday, June 21, 2008 at her home. She was born April 11, 1944.

She was preceded in death by her parents, William and Leva Brooks, two brothers, Kenneth and Merell Brooks all of Middlesboro, and one sister, Bernice Pursifull of Alabama.

She leaves behind

her husband,

Harold 'Satch' Thacker;

five children,

Sue Miracle, Middlesboro,

Tamera Miracle, London, KY,

Debbie Shafer, Crittenden, KY,

Veronica Courtney, Berry, KY and

Scott Shafer, Independence, KY;

Her step-children include,

Wayne Thacker,

Charles Thacker,

Ronnie Thacker,

Debbie Marsee and

Connie Miracle;

one sister,

Margaret Richardson, Loudon, TN.

She was blessed with twenty-two grandchildren,

one great grandchild and very many dear friends.

Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, June 25, 2008 at Reece Valley Chapel with Rev. Clayton Barton and Rev. John Marsee officiating. Music by the Heaven Heirs. Burial in the Hurst Cemetery In Middlesboro. Pallbearers, Wayne Thacker, Ronnie Thacker, Donnie Earls, Billy Adkins, Ace Good and Donnie Miracle.
