Glenda K. Bryant Marsee, 56, of Harrogate, TN, went home to be with the Lord June 8, 2010. She was born and raised in Middlesboro, KY, was a member of Gap Creek Baptist Church, a doting grandmother. In 1994 she fulfilled her lifelong dream of becoming a nurse. She cared for the sick, often going the extra mile for them until her own illness overcame her.

Preceded in death by her daughter, Jennifer Rebecca; parents, Gene and Ruby Bryant; granddaughter, Kristy Michelle Lashley;

brother, Raymond Bryant; sister, Angela Sutton and nephew, Shawn Bryant.

Survivors, Loving husband, William E. Marsee; Son, William Todd (& Geraldine) Marsee, Somerset, KY; Daughter, Julie Anne Barnette, Grandson, Joseph Andrew Barnette, all of Harrogate, TN; Granddaughter, Brittany Dawn; Great-granddaughter, Hannah Payton of Somerset, KY; Brothers, Bobby (&Donna) Bryant, Somerset, KY,Russell Bryant, Tazewell, TN; Sisters, Judy Brantley, Morristown, TN, Rebecca (& Randy) Bolstridge, Tazewell, TN; Many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews. Special mentions to April (& Doug) Thacker, Tazewell, TN, Kelsie Smith, Pineville, KY, and Jackie Good, Harrogate, TN, all of whom adored her throughout her life.

Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Friday, June 11, 2010 at Reece Valley Chapel with Rev. Terry England officiating.
