Gladys Warren Hooker

Gladys Mae Warren Hooker, 83 of Arjay went to be with the Lord on Friday, July 24, 2009 at her home. Gladys was born in Blanche, KY on July 10, 1926 a daughter of the late James Warren and Dora Reynolds Warren Beverly. She was of the Pentecostal faith and had been a Homemaker. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her daughter, Brenda Sue Hooker Collier, son, Bobby Ray Hooker, brother, Floyd Warren, sisters, Alice Warren Smith and Ethel Warren Hall, half-brothers, Archie Beverly and Oscar Beverly. Survivors include her husband of 59 years, Hubert Hooker of Arjay; daughter, Cathy Hooker Green and husband Charles of Arjay; brothers, Eugene and Hazel Warren of London and Charles and Opal Warren of Barbourville; sister, Minnie Warren Hooker of Greenwood, IN; half-sister, Viola and Robert Lewis; half-brothers, Brittan Beverly of Michigan, J.D. and Teresa Warren of Middlesboro, Carlos Lee Warren of Michigan City, IN, Bill Warren and Doug Warren both of Pineville; sister-in-law, Delphia Beverly and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, her Pineville Home Health and Hospice Team and many friends.
