Gerty Buell

Gerty Buell, 80 of Pineville, passed away on Saturday, July 29, 2023, at the Pineville Community Health Care Center. She was born in Ingram on March 28, 1943, a daughter of the late Charlie and Maggie Laws Jones. Gerty had been a Retail Manager for a clothing store. She was a loving mother and grandmother.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Wayne Buell, Sr.; son, Paul Wayne "Skip" Buell, Jr.; brother, George Jones; and great-grandchildren, TJ and Alysia.

Gerty is survived by her son, Charles Buell and his wife, Lisa; grandchildren, Tiffany, Amanda, Kristin, and Nicole; great-grandchildren, Tiara, Caden, Micha, Trinity, Alee, Lou, Gianna, Adrianna, Mason, Kylie, Liam, Lennox, London, Tristan, Leilani, Brayden, Elle, Mandy, Krissy, Niki, Justin, Austin, and Tiffany; siblings, Kelly Jones, Tome Jones and Charlene Fitzgerald; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

Funeral services will be at 2:00 PM on Friday, August 4, 2023, at the Arnett & Steele Funeral Home. Entombment will follow at the Green Hills Memorial Gardens in the Mausoleum with family and friends serving as pallbearers.
