Geraldine Tabor Slone

Geraldine Tabor Slone, 73, of Pineville went to be with the Lord on Thursday, August 30, 2012 at her home. She was born on August 9, 1939 in Pineville a daughter of the late Floyd and Effie Emery Tabor. She had been a homemaker and loving mother, grandmother and sister. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James Richard Slone, son, Willard 'Shorty' Slone; daughter-in-law, Ronda Slone; sisters and brother-in-law, Juanita and Jay Miller; Sarah and Willard Perkins and Frank Lee Tabor and nephew, James 'Bimbo' Perkins. Survivors include her sons and daughters and their spouses, Peggy and Harold Mosley, Ronnie and Lisa Slone, Kathy Slone, Chenoa and Carrie Slone, James and Loretta Slone and Tim Slone; grandchildren, Chris and Haley Mosley, John and Katie Slone, Tim Lee and Brittany Slone, Chenoa, Jr. and Kendra Slone, Craig Mosley, Kim Slone, James W. and Kayla Slone, Jake Slone, Nelson Slone, Bubba Slone, Jennifer Slone, Josh Slone, James S. Slone, Brittany Slone and Victoria Rowland; and several great-grandchildren who all loved her dearly; sisters and brother, Hazel Mills, Betty Martin, Cordie Lester and Jim Tabor, very special niece, Shirley Bryant; special friend, Brenda Smith and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
