Geraldine Lowe Neal, age 89, of Pineville, died Monday, November 13, 2017 at Middlesboro Hospital after a long battle with Alzheimers.
Geraldine was born January 21, 1928 in Pineville, Kentucky to Alonzo Lowe and Belle Vaughn Lowe. She dedicated her life to her children and grandchildren, loving them all deeply.
Geraldine’s family was her whole heart and surviving her are her 5 children: Nancy Anna Cannon of Ewing , VA, David (Phyllis) Neal of Tazewell, TN, Frank (Pauline) Neal of Tazewell, TN, Lisa (Dennis) Grubbs of Pineville, KY, and Karen (Paul) Vonstein of Shiloh, OH,: 7 Grand Children Heather (Brandon) Niles, Ashley Neal, Charles (Sherry) Neal, Barbara Ann Neal, Christie Neal, Roy (Jennifer) Cannon, Jimmy Cannon, Robert Laws, Serena (Jonathon) Swan, Joshua (Amanda) Grubbs, and Michael Paul; as well as a host of great grandchildren, nieces, nephew, friends and loved ones.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Henry Neal, Sisters Joyce Templeton, Patsy Lowe, & Dory Hensley, Brother Jimmy Lowe, a daughter: Elizabeth Ann Carpenter, and Grandson Ernest Cannon.
Services will be on Saturday at 1:00 PM at the Reece Funeral Home Chapel with MMRev. Kevin Turner and Rev. KJ Zimmerman. Music will be by the Butchers Gap Baptist Church Singers. Burial will be in the Cannon Cemetery in Tazewell with family and friends serving as pallbearers.
Family and friends are welcome on Friday, November 17, 2017 from 6 – 8 PM at the Reese Funeral Home & Valley Chapel, 6340 Cumberland Gap Pkwy, Harrogate TN.
