Geraldine Howard

Geraldine Howard, 79, formerly of Pineville, passed away on Thursday, September 21, 2017 at Diversicare of Claiborne. She was born in Pineville on July 25, 1938, a daughter of the late Lewis and Norma Collett Ferrell. She had worked as a Strut Assembler for GM and as an aid at Pineville Community Hospital. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three children, Connie Shultz, Debra Kay Howard and Darrin Howard; grandchild, Brandon Bowman; brothers and sisters, Corina Cox, Tolman Ferrell, Judy Baker, Elonda Defevers and Hildreth Rice. Survivors include her children, Rocky Howard, Cynthia Ann Lewsader and Jeff Howard; ten grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; brother and sisters, Charlotte Kimball, Lola Howard, Inez Morrow and James Ferrell and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Services will be at 1:00 PM on Sunday at the Arnett & Steele Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. David Rice. Cremation will follow at the Arnett & Steele Cremation Center in Pineville. The family will receive friends on Saturday from 5 until 7 PM at the Arnett & Steele Funeral Home and Cremation Center, Pineville, which is honored to serve the Howard Family. Visitation
