Georgia Robbins

Georgie Miller Robbins, 85, of Pineville, passed away on Tuesday, May 20, 2014 at Mountain View Nursing Home. She was born in Four Mile on November 6, 1928 and was the daughter of the late Charlie and Martha Hatfield Miller. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Pineville and had been a homemaker. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Wilburn Clyde Robbins, her son, Dennis Robbins and sisters, Helen Napier and Judy Adcox. Survivors include her children and their spouses, Glennis and Kathy Robbins, Susan and Bob Morris, George Clyde and Sandy Robbins, Betty Jane and Danny Bailey, Bruce and Fran Robbins and Mary Ann Robbins; grandchildren, Steve Bailey; Jeanne Pruette; Travis Bailey; Shawnna Yates; Chuck Morris, Rebecca Robbins; Clyde Robbins, Jeffrey Robbins; Noah W. Robbins, Willie Rose and Jacob Robbins; great-great-grandchildren, Sarah Poore, Matthew Pruette; Sarah Bailey; Stevie Bailey; Seth Bailey; Jedidiah Bailey; Emily Yates; Braden Yates; Byron Yates and Kaylee Tucker; a great-great-great-grandson soon to be born, Cruz Poore; brothers, Ralph Miller and Thurman Miller and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Services will be Sunday, May 25, 2014 at 3:00 PM with Rev. Ray Spicer. Burial will follow in the Pineville Memorial Cemetery, with grandsons serving as pallbearers. The family will receive friends on Sunday from 1:00 until 3:00 PM at the Arnett & Steele Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Pineville, which is honored to serve the Robbins Family.
