Georgia Hoskins Golden, 78, of Pineville, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, July 7, 2012 at Vanderbilt Hospital in Nashville. She was born in Little Clear Creek on February 22, 1934, a daughter of the late General Fuston and Angeline Gibson Fuston Simpson. She had been a member of Salem #2 Baptist Church for over 39 years. Georgia had been a cook at Pineville Community Hospital, Don Rico's and The Workshop in Harlan. She had been a loving mother and will be missed by all her children and family. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two husbands, Carmel Hoskins and Matt Golden; sister, Virginia Hensley, grandson, Brandon Golden and Great-grandchildren, Ethan and Payton Hoskins. Survivors include her children and their spouses, Betty Jo Howard, Clear Creek; Norman Wayne and Carolyn Sue Hoskins, Tazewell; Carmel, Jr. and Jay Genia Hoskins, Russellville; Vicky Lynn Hoskins and fiancé, Charles Hixson, Rutledge, TN; Julius Michael and Kathy Hoskins, Harrogate, Rosemary Hoskins Shackleford, Clear Creek and John Matt and Pamela Golden, Clear Creek; grandchildren, Rodney Howard, Norman Joseph Hoskins, Jonathan Stacy Hoskins, Amie Lake, Carla Berry, Dewayne Tolliver, Chris Ellison, Kimberly Ellison, Cheyenne Shackleford, Tracy Shackleford and Jonathan Golden; brothers and sisters, June Skidmore, Clear Creek; Jesse Browning, Harlan; Bob and Edith Fuston, Clear Creek and Carolyn and Paul Asher, Clear Creek; and a host of great-grandchildren, step-children, nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends.
