Georgia Brock

Georgia Dishman Brock, 81, of Brock Hollow, Pineville, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, May 14, 2011 at the Pineville Community Hospital. She was born February 12, 1930 at Straight Creek a daughter of the late James Edward and Ellen Clouse Dishman. She believed in the Holiness faith. She was a housewife and mother to 8 children. She was married to Lewis Brock of Brock Hollow for 62 years who survives. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by sons, James Edward Brock and David Brock, a step-son, Jimmy Howard, granddaughter, Crystal Murphy, brothers Kinley, Claude, Virgil and Leland Dishman and sisters, Nettie Brock, Willia Jean Lawson and Virginia Dishman. Left to mourn her passing are her husband, Lewis Brock; brother and his wife, Charles and Kristy Dishman and their spouses, Patsy and George Phipps of Clear Creek, Betty Murphy of Ferndale, Ray Brock of Brock Hollow , Louise and Raymond Wilder of Clear Creek, Barbara and David Hoskins of Calvin, Bobby and Lisa Brock of Highway 92 and step-daughter, Patricia ?Big Pat? Boley of New Tazewell; grandchildren and their spouses, Jennifer and Bill Forsythe, Leonard and Vicky Phipps, Tammy and Clifford Jones, Scotty Phipps, Melissa and James Miller, Tiffany and Eric Hutton, Stephanie and Johnathan Johnson, Tonya and Charlie Billings, Amy Brock, Samantha and Tory Goodin, Eric and Angie Brock, Travis and Kelly Wilder, Danny and Abby Wilder, Kristy and Devin Fuson, Brandon and Brittney Wilder, Benjamin Wilder, Michael Hoskins, Shawn and Misti Hoskins, Austin Brock and David Brock, step-grandchildren, Roger Jones, Louann Stewart, Bonnie Stevens; eleven great-grandchildren, Justin Forsythe, Lyndsey and McKinsey Phipps, Justin Phipps, Whitney and Charles David Billings, Morgan and Bryson Goodin, Aiden Brock, Cameron and Macy Hoskins; nine step-grandchildren, and six step-great-great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
