Georgia Baker

Georgia Baker, 90 of Dewitt, passed away on Monday, July 17, 2023, at the Baptist Health Hospital in Lexington. She was born in Barbourville on August 16, 1932, a daughter of the late Eli and Sallie Miller Gambrel. Georgia had been a housekeeper at the Pineville Community Hospital.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Arthur Baker; grandchild, Arteli Capo Baker; and siblings, Agnes, Virgil, Earl, Edna, and Tom.

Georgia is survived by her son, Leonard Baker; grandchildren, Lenny Ray Baker, Georgia Baker, Carlie and Rachel Baker, Arthur Baker, Lincoln Baker, and Kennedy Baker; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be at 2:00 PM on Saturday, July 22, 2023, at the Arnett & Steele Funeral Home with Rev. Derrick Mills presiding. Burial will follow at the Hammons Cemetery in Flat Lick.
