George Wayne Carmack

George Wayne Carmack, 58, of Middlesboro, passed away on Friday, March 17, 2017 at Tennova Hospital in Knoxville, TN. He was born in Middlesboro on November 3, 1958 and was a son of the late George and Della Seymour Carmack. He believed in the Baptist faith and had worked for himself, hanging and finishing drywall. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his siblings, Georgia Deloris Partin, Tony Marvin Carmack, Sudie Marie Baker, Deloris Carmack, Jimmy Carmack, Annetta Carmack, Clifford Carmack, Chester Carmack, Freddie Carmack and Leona Baker. Survivors include his wife of 24 years, Lisa Phipps Carmack; sisters, Margie Sexton, Jean Carmack, Wilma Carmack, Joyce Vanover, Velvia Kenny, Carolyn Branscome, Shirley Nance and Jennifer Carmack; brother, Jessie Carmack and wife, Glenda; special brother-in-law, Bill 'Buger' Browning; brothers-in-law, James Phipps, Melvin Phipps and wife, Shirley and Bobby Phipps and wife, Betty; sister-in-law, Tina Mosley and husband, David; special niece, Emily; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and many friends. Funeral services will be Tuesday, March 21 at 6:00 PM athte Arnett & Steele Funeral Home chapel with Rev. Jack Daniels. Burial is to follow in the Anderson Cemetery in Middlesboro with Jessie Carmack, James Browning, Jason Browning, Steve Hoskins, Bill Browning, William Browning and John Carmack serving as pallbearers. The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 4 until 6 PM at the Arnett & Steele Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Pineville, which is honored to be serving the Carmack Family.
