Genevieve 'GG' Reese Low Stewart passed away peacefully Thursday June 8th, 2017 in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida. She was born May 23rd, 1925 in Pineville, Kentucky to the late Robert Gibson Low and Genevieve Reese Low. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her daughter Sue Stewart Chandler, her step-mother Anna Dean Low, and her former husband George E. Stewart. She is survived by her daughter Genevieve Stewart Rosaforte and her husband, Tim Rosaforte of Jupiter, FL; their children, Molly Gibson Rosaforte, and Genevieve Low Bezek and her husband, Nicholas Bezek; granddaughter Lisa Susan Chandler of Palm Beach Gardens, FL and great grandson Grayson Stewart Chandler; beloved cousin Veva Reese Harrison and her husband, Paul Harrison of Houston, TX. Genevieve attended Gulfpark Junior College in Gulfport, MS and graduated from Brenau College in Gainesville, GA. She was a loving mother and enjoyed many years of volunteering at her daughters' schools. Genevieve was a member of the First Baptist Church of Pineville and the Pineville Garden Club. A member of the Middlesboro Country Club, she enjoyed playing golf with her friends. She was also an avid tennis and bridge player. After living many years in Pineville, "GG" (as she was lovingly known by family and friends,) moved to Knoxville, TN and finally to Jupiter, FL. In her last years, she loved nothing more than to sit in her rocking chair on the front porch with the family dogs on her lap. GG lived a long and full life. Her contagious laughter, sense of humor, boundless style and beautiful soul will be greatly missed. The family would like to thank all the staff at Mangrove Bay for the loving care that she received, and we extend our heartfelt gratitude to Takesha Newman, her caregiver. They would also like to thank the team at LaPosada for making GG comfortable in her final months. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 9:00 PM, Friday June 23rd at the Arnett & Steele Funeral Home & Cremation Center in Pineville, KY. Graveside funeral services will be at 11:00 AM, Saturday June 24th at the Pineville Cemetery in Pineville, KY.
