Geneva Lucille Crigger, 91, of Middlesboro, passed away on Tuesday, March 25, 2025, at her home with her family. She was born in Tiprell, Tennessee on May 13, 1933, and was a daughter of the late Emmitt and Eula Bush Seabolt. She had worked in the School System for many years as an Aide, and enjoyed working at flea markets where she loved meeting new friends and helping people find what they were looking for.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Doyle Crigger and her brother, Joe Ed Seabolt.
Geneva Lucille is survived by her children, Shelia Reese, Kyla Sandefur, Grace (John) Brock, Sherry Gail Hamblin, James “Shorty” Crigger and Lisa (Tony) Sutton; twelve grandchildren, twenty seven great-grandchildren and nine great-great-grandchildren; sisters, Rama June Phillips and Linda Ann Rice and a host of relatives and many friends.
The funeral service will be on Sunday, March 30, 2025, at 7:00 PM at Arnett & Steele Valley Chapel with Rev. Joe Williams and Rev. Rick Crowder. Music will be provided by The Partin Family Singers. Burial will be on Monday, March 31, 2025 at 12:00 PM in the Irish Cemetery in Tazewell. A funeral procession will leave for the cemetery from Arnett & Steele Valley Chapel at 11:30 AM on Monday. Pallbearers will be Steven Hamblin, Johnny Brock, Anthony Sutton, Shawn Sutton, Zac Crigger, Allen Sandefur and James Crigger.
The family will receive friends on Sunday from 5:00 pm until the funeral hour at the Arnett & Steele Valley Chapel in Harrogate, which is honored to serve the Crigger family.
