Gary Alan Wilder, 62 of Miracle, KY, passed away on Saturday, December 26, 2015 at his home. He was born in Detroit, MI on January 4, 1953, a son of Reba Wilson Cornelius and the late Avery Wilder. He had been a coal miner at Cypress Mining and had driven a School Bus for the Bell County School System. Gary loved playing guitar and singing and had been a member of 'Soldiers of the Cross' Gospel Band. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather and loved children. He was an avid farmer. Survivors include his wife, Rebecca Saylor Wilder; sons and their wives, Joshua and April Hale, Jeremiah and Melanie Wilder; grandchildren, Kiara Lee and Joshua Hale; brother, Larry Wilder and wife, Karen, sister, Ava Wilder; half-brothers and their wives, David and Susan Cornelius; Tim and Tammy Cornelius; mother-in-law, Mary Saylor, special friends, Gary and Loretta Dorton, Van Johnson and family and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Services will be at 7:00 PM Tuesday at the Arnett & Steele Funeral Chapel with Rev. Darrell Lowe and Rev. James Teaney. Music will be by Larry and Debbie Greene and Larry Mason. Burial will be on Wednesday at 11:00 AM at the Cubbage Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Matthew Williams, Paul Johnson, Danny Johnson, Scotty Johnson, Larry Greene, Larry Mason, Alan Cornelius and Scotty Gray. Honorary pallbearer is Dr. Steven Morgan. The family will receive friends from 5 until the funeral hour at the Arnett & Steele Funeral Home and Cremation Center, Pineville, which is honored to serve the Wilder Family. Visitation
