Gary George Jackson

Gary George Jackson, 61 of Pineville, passed away on Friday, July 3, 2026, at the University of Tennessee Medical Center in Knoxville. He was born in Pineville on March 17, 1965, a son of Charlie and Cora Tigue Jackson. Gary had worked in construction.

He was preceded in death by his father, Charlie Jackson; brother, Charles “Baby” Jackson; and sister, Linda Jackson.

Gary is survived by his mother, Cora Jackson; brothers, Jimmy Jackson, Steve Jackson, Timothy Jackson, and Christopher Pete Jackson; sisters, Debbie James and Margaret Gambrel; son, Johnathon Slone; three grandchildren, Payton, Bristol, and Tate; and a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

Private services were cared for by Arnett & Steele Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Pineville, which is honored to serve the Jackson Family.
