Freeda Katherine Faulkner

Freeda Katherine Faulkner, 87, of Pineville passed away on Friday, November 29, 2019 at The Heritage, Corbin, KY. She was born in Brush Creek, KY on March 30, 1932 a daughter of the late Jesse and Myrtle Deathage Pope. She had retired from Bell Whitley Community Action Agency. She was a member of Ebenezer Baptist Church and a member of the Pineville Chapter 89 Order of The Eastern Star. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John Faulkner, daughter, Connie Champagne; brother, Paul Pope and sister-in-law, Janice Pope. Survivors include her son, John Faulkner, II; granddaughter, Laura Champagne and husband, Taylor Osborne and great-grandchild, Nolan Osborne; brother and his wife, Bill and Wanda Pope; special friend, Regina Brock; sisters-in-law, Susan Faulkner and Loraine Faulkner and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Services will be at 11:00 AM Tuesday, December 3, 2019 at the Arnett & Steele Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Leonard Lester and Rev. Mike Brooks. Burial will be in the Carroll Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Bill Pope, II, Freddie Mays, Shelly Gibson, David Faulkner, William Faulkner and Taylor Osborne. The family will receive friends on Monday from 6 until 9:00 PM at the Arnett & Steele Funeral Home and Cremation Center, Pineville, which is honored to serve the Faulkner family.
