Fredrick Codey Carnes, 24, of Jenson, passed away on Sunday, May 15, 2022, in Knox County, KY. He was born in Pineville on January 23, 1998, a son of the late Brian Edward and Brandy Foister Carnes. Codey believed in the Baptist Faith and had been an A-Lineman for Pike Electric Corporation. Codey was an avid outdoorsman and loved hunting and fishing. Codey cared for and loved his whole family. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Fred “Kojack” Foister; and paternal grandmother, Marie Lewis Carnes. He is survived by his wife, Alexandria Lee Sizemore; son, Colton River Carnes; grandmother, Wanda Foister; a sister and brother he always looked after, Brittany Carnes and Austin Carnes and Willis; aunts, Cerina Foister and Jake and Tiffany Creech and Denny; uncle, Thomas Carnes; grandparents, Buster and Johnny Lou Carnes; parents-in-law, Jeffrey and Rebecca Sizemore, sister-in-law, Morgan Sizemore; brother-in-law, Cameron Sizemore; special friends he called brothers, Keith Jackson, Kevin Davis, Chad Baker, Scott Hoskins, and Austin Wilder; special cousins, Ryan and Kim Blevins and their children, Noah and Riley; special aunt and uncle, Terry and Ron Blevins; nieces and nephews, Mary Mackinsey Smith and Sabrina, Hannah Witt, Adleigh Creech, Isaiah Creech, Jordan Creech, Greyson Smith, Bryan Edward Carnes, and Aubrey Kate Carnes; great-aunt and uncle, Charlie Cline and Ronnie Saylor; cousins, Lisa Caldwell and Rachel his work family and a host of other relatives and many friends. Services will be at 3:00 PM on Tuesday, May 17,2022, at Arnett & Steele Funeral Chapel with Rev. AY Mills. Music will be by Debbie Green and Adrienne Saylor. Burial will be in the Jenson Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Ryan Blevins, Scott Hoskins, Thomas Carnes, Cameron Sizemore, Keith Jackson, Chad Baker, Austin Wilder, Trent Lefevers and Kevin Davis. Honorary pallbearers will be Donnie Lefevers, Austin Carnes, Jeffrey Sizemore, Chris Wagner, Tanner Lefevers and many friends too numerous to name. The family will receive friends on Tuesday May 17, from 1:00 until the funeral hour at the Arnett & Steele Funeral Home and Cremation Center, Pineville, which in honored to serve the Carnes Family.
