Frederick "Freddie" Philpot, Jr.

Frederick "Freddie" Philpot, Jr., 62 of Pineville, passed away on Sunday, July 31, 2022 at his home. He was born in Pineville on June 1, 1960, a son of the late Frederick Sr and Eva Jones Philpot. Freddie was a believer in the Baptist Faith and had worked in environmental and safety management. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his siblings, Avery Philpot and Florence Jackson. Freddie is survived by his fiance, Betty Lynn Dye; daughter, Chasity Nicole Philpot; son, Jeremy Philpot and Kayla Brock; grandchildren, Searra Hoskins, Jordan Baker, Hunter and Bentley; sisters, Brenda Yeager and husband, Quentin and Alice Ward and husband, James; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. Funeral services will be at 2:00 PM on Wednesday, August 3, 2022 at the Arnett & Steele Funeral Home with Rev. James Ward presiding. Music will be provided by Reed Maiden. Burial will follow at the Green Hills Memorial Gardens in Middlesboro with family and friends serving as pallbearers. The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 12:00 PM until the funeral hour at the Arnett & Steele Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Pineville, which is honored to serve the Philpot Family.
